We offer free initial assessments to anyone who is interested in using our services. This can be with any member of our multidisciplinary team depending upon your goals.

We will provide a summary of recommendations and a quote following your initial appointment. The quote will detail the cost of any recommendations. Where appropriate you will be provided with a range of options so that you can establish the best option to help you achieve your aims whilst staying within your budget.

    Our prosthetists design sockets to a variety of shapes depending upon your body and the challenges that you face. We can provide sockets that are easy and quick to put on with an all in one design, sockets that give extra knee support or ones that are contoured to provide an incredibly secure fit.

    Silicone and gel linersComfort is key

    The silicone and gel liners were originally developed as an alternative to bearing weight through the patellar tendon (under kneecap). However, it can also be used in combination with other designs. Our gel liners are great for providing a secure fit and minimising rubbing.

    Sockets to aid knee stability

    Our prosthetists provide sockets with specially designed trim lines to provide in built knee stability. These come in a number of different shapes depending on your needs and can be of a convenient all in one design so all you will need to put it on is a sock.

    Extra secure suspensionDon’t let go

    We realise that confidence in your prosthesis is of critical importance to your potential to make the most out of it. If you have difficulty using more common suspension methods, or enjoy activities that require maximum confidence in your prosthetic suspension, our prosthetists can provide alternative suspension methods adapted to your goals.

    As every socket is handmade for you, our experienced prosthetists are keen to take on whatever challenge you may have for us. We can provide sockets that are beautifully decorated, incredibly robust or both.

    We offer free initial prosthetic assessments to those who intend to self fund their treatment or to those who wish to gain an estimate for costs so that they can apply for funding.
